Survey of Distributed Decision
نویسندگان
چکیده
We survey the recent distributed computing literature on checking whether a given distributed system configuration satisfies a given boolean predicate, i.e., whether the configuration is legal or illegal w.r.t. that predicate. We consider classical distributed computing environments, including mostly synchronous fault-free network computing (LOCAL and CONGEST models), but also asynchronous crash-prone shared-memory computing (WAIT-FREE model), and mobile computing (FSYNC model). ∗Both authors received additional support from Inria project-team GANG.

A Survey on the Impact of Distributed Energy Resources on Power Flow Components
Turning to Renewable Energy Sources (RES) is the most logical politics in securing the modern society from critical changes in earth increasing temperature. However, Distributed Generation (DG) sources could lead to new challenges in electricity network, mainly allocation of DG sources in distribution level of power system will set the existing network under stress of power flow parameters. The...
متن کاملAuditors’ Gender and Age and Their Relationship to Judgments and Decisions (the Case of Iran)
This study aims at investigating the relationship between age and gender of auditors and their judgment and decision. Population of this study includes dependent auditors engaged in audit firms member of Iranian Association of Certified Public Accountants (IACPA). Random sampling was used and the questionnaireswere distributed among 100 auditors. The methodology of the study is descriptive-surv...
متن کاملOptimum Local Decision Rules in a Distributed Detection System with Dependent Observations
The theory of distributed detection is receiving a lot of attention. A common assumption used in previous studies is the conditional independence of the observations. In this paper, the optimization of local decision rules for distributed detection networks with correlated observations is considered. We focus on presenting the detection theory for parallel distributed detection networks with fi...

متن کاملSurvey of Distributed Decision Tree Induction Techniques
The decision tree-based classification is a popular approach for pattern recognition and data mining. Most decision tree induction methods assume training data being present at one central location. Given the growth in distributed databases at geographically dispersed locations, the methods for decision tree induction in distributed settings are gaining importance. This paper describes one such...
